I had a C100 Honda after the Raleigh. A fantastic ohv 4 stroke of 50 ccs, two seater , and three semi auto gears. Loved that little bike, I was only 16!
Yep, 16. mine was the pushrod job, stuffed the big end twice (the lube was a dipper on the big end, needle rollers, and at 9500 rpm, the oil was probably just foamed!). I would walk to the dealer to buy the new crankshaft (£8!) and borrow the flywheel puller. On arrival home, we could replace and have the puller back at the dealer within an hour and a quarter!
