Our 2020 Coachman VIP 575 is fitted with a Dometic fridge......why do manufacturers insist on having a bright blue control panel that cannot be dimmed for sleeping purposes....its like trying to sleep on the Las Vegas strip....bearing in mind the majority of fridges will be sharing the sleeping...

i think the 35kg refers to the total weight as shipped...its in two big boxes, one for the awning and one full of accessories. i took the awning out of the box and put it into the bag provided and to be honest it did feel lighter than the kampa...the accessory bag i would estimate is around...

hoping it will be a bit the same if not a bit lighter than the kampa due to the fewer air beams....i used to drag the kampa onto the rail on my own so we shall see....

Following a bit of Youtube research for tips on erecting our new Isabella, I found nothing but crazy Dutch people overinflating and ending up with main beams looking like they have had too much Viagra.....this got me thinking....next week i might just set up a camera and film the whole unboxing...

our used to pool on the roof too....despite all the beams in the roof structure :rolleyes:

they look to slot into receivers on the front section (whereas our old kampa ace air 400 had velcro pads)....looking forward to see how easy it goes onto the rail as it only has 3 main beams unlike the kampa, which had 4 and loads of cross beams in the roof.

well, as the saying goes......"you cant take it with you".....been and bought one today. first thoughts, its a hefty beast and the accessories bag is as big as the awning bag :oops: see how it goes up a week on friday and will report back

Auto all the way for me.....BUT, be aware of the trend for DCT over traditional auto (particularly with KIA / HYUNDAI) as i am not convinced they are the best choice for towing....low speed manoeuvring and stop start traffic appear to be a weak point....

always found the booking system a bit of a farce.....people just booking out dozens of weekends then cancelling at the last minute. agree that there should be a maximum number of bookings allowed at any time on a rolling system.....

they expect you to buy a new one.........
