      We use an electric hot plate more than the caravan hob, I think it was around £25, brilliant bit of kit and easy to clean.

      Yes, we had to do this a few years back on a 2016 Swift when the charger failed while we were away, I bought one from a local Halfords...

      As far as I remember I also did nothing re the tax when I changed my number plate the tax moved over automatically to the new reg.

      As above, plus a 13 pin socket/plug is a better design than the old 7 pin style and doesn't tend to suffer melted pins as the 7 pin can.
