I would as others have stated reject the van. Do you have the van number as the dealer may just fill/paint the fault and say it is a 'new' van.

We have stayed on Bridge Farm Caravan site between Bakewell and Buxton just off the A6. Drive passed Chatsworth and follow on for about 30 mins. Very clean site with full amenities and better priced than Chatsworth it is well placed for the Monsall trail.

We had our 2014 Affinity 550 upgraded for £50 and gained and extra 50 kgs! Though it did take Elldis over 4 months to send the new stickers.

We have used one since after first trip with first van we discovered a stone chip. I clean the front before putting it on and with the straps correctly tightened it sits like a second skin and thus no pressure on the awning rails. We wouldnt tow without it now.

We bought a Ventura Pacific 4 years ago as wife didnt like the windows in the doors but the quality is great esp with the light carbon poles. We changed the van last year and had it increased in length and otherthan having to buy 2 new poles for the roof it is easy to put up and take down...

Try The Poplars in Sewerby (open until end Oct). The Martonian is about 5 min walk. Also the council run site on south side Brid has a club house etc Not stayed there in a long time tho. Theres the CC site just outside Sewerby. 20 min walk to pub but great sire tho v v popular to try and get on.

Ive read that using an old submersible pump with the electrics disconnected and the pump replaced with a tyre valve works as well. Tho yes the 15 psi is to be aware of. Not tried it yet as we use the van thro the winter.

Having bought a new van we found that our Ventura Cadet was not suitable because of the rear leg pads that fit against the van walls. They were too wide for the small space between the door/front window and we didnt want to cover the window so sold it on. We are looking for a suitable porch...

We changed our solid for a pneumatic and had to change the whole assembly to stop the tyre rubbing catching on the forks & stem. Make sure its pulld up fully before travelling as they do sit lower on the A frame.

Glad you like your Avante. We bought the Affinity and I was wondering if you use a porch awning and if so which make, as weve found the space between the door/window is too tight for such as the Ventura Cadet/Isabella with rear leg pads. Our Affinity is back with the dealers for the warrenty...

I found videos online for both full and porch awnings by Isabella but I would imagine the principals will be the same for other manufacturers.

We have this model and generally find it ok with a mention about the sound quality which I understand is a problem with many of the thin led tv we sometimes run our sound thro the vans radio/cd player to give a better sound quality
