Hi Merlin, thanks for the reply. We are travelling up from Avrille on the 10th of Aug and would want to stay, somewhere around Bernay if possible for 2 nights, and make our way up to the tunnel on Sunday the 12th for the 5 pm train. Thanks Alan

Hi All, we normally stay at Chateau de Chanteloup on the way back from the Vendee. This year we would like to find a campsite a bit further up, not to far off the main motorways. Any ideas?

We are travelling to the Vendee, and also using the tunnel , we stay at Chateau de Chanteloop on the way . Takes us 6 hrs to get there from the tunnel with a couple of breaks, then takes us about 3.5hrs to travel to La Trevilliere which is about the same distance. Hope this helps Alan
