My Hartal lock was so stiff it seemed as though the key might snap off when I was trying to lock/unlock it. I have followed Parksy's instructions and the lock works perfectly now - thanks. My only comment would be to add that the circlip is quite difficult to remove!! Alistair (a different one!)

I am interested in a Skoda Yeti as a towcar. As a 4x4 it seems very economical, relatively low on road tax but can pull fairly heavy weights. The 170bhp has a towing limit of 1800kg according to the brochure. Has anyone got any experience of a Yeti? Is it great - or abominable?!

I have a Touran with the 170 engine - highly recommended - used for towing 1495kg MTPLM. I used to have the 140 which was fine but this is even better - amazing torque. Both manual, so no experience of DSG, but I understand that the auto box is very good.

I looked at the Outdoor Revolution Techlite at Highbridge today - it certainly looks good and very easy to put up - and you can keep it on the van. I liked the idea of having no poles against the van. Does anyone else have any comments on the Techlite?
