    Caravanning costs

Why do you want such a big van?? twice as much to insure, more fuel to tow, bigger tow car required etc. Anyway, enough of the negative. Caravanning is brill but for it to be worth it you need to use the van fairly frequently. It is no use just wheeling it out for 2 weeks at July and then...

    Misted window

Unlike your windows at home, those on your van are not a sealed unit. It is quite normal for the windows to mist up but as long as they clear again in a few days it is not a problem. Outside temperature dropping when the inside of your van is warm makes it happen. Put your windows on night or...

buying a first second hand van

YES I AGREE WITH THE OTHERS. DON'T GO SILLY BECAUSE YOU NEED TO CONSIDER INSURANCE, STORAGE AND TOWABILITY ETC. 5 Berth or 6?

mmmm... that's a tough one . Do you go for a new van ie. new layout this year or stick to a tried and tested favourite. Well I would say the Bretagne is the one to choose. Why? Well there is the added advantage of the side dinette being there to have a brew and use as extra worktop space. Also...

    caravan windows

t-cut is great but takes some doing. More to the point, if this van has been through a car wash or similar what has this done to the seals? I'd look elsewhere mate if I were you.

    abi or abbey

abi and abbey are completely different brands. Abbey are still produced by the mighty Swift group and ABI's er... aren't! ABI still exist as far as aftersales goes and still build statics but not tourers. totally different beasts altogether mate.
