Advice needed on a Dongle ??

I bought a 3 mobile broadband dongle. £10 top up for a month. Coverage is quite good in England. However the further north you go into Scotland the less coverage you will find. Best advice if you are going as far as Inverness take a o2 mobile dongle because they work great up there. Dont...

We have just had a new one fitted. Our old one was twelve years old and we could not have managed without it. Our new one is brilliant. You can spin the caravan on a sixpence. We bought direct from Powrtouch and they arranged for their fitted to install at our storage place. He removed the...

What equipment did your first caravan have?

Our first caravan, bought new from Halfords Auto Leisure Land in Sunderland, was a 1976 Monza 1400 CT. No toilet, no sink in the toilet compartment no oven. It came with two gas lights (one at each end) - slam the caravan door and you had to change the mantle. A foot pump for cold water...

    Heki 2 Rooflight Gas Struts

We have a Swift Charisma 220 (2001) and the gas struts on the Heki rooflight no longer work. I see you can buy replacements but don't know about changing them myself. Is it an easy job, should I try or should I get a caravan service centre to do it? I would welcome your views.

Try setting up a new e-mail account using Yahoo. I use a 3 mobile broadband dongle when we are away and although I can receive e-mail via Outlook express I cannot send, for the reasons mentioned about. Answer is by using a Yahoo e-mail account you are not using your ISP. You can therefore...

Caravan Insurance whilst van is in storage?

We have to find new storage facilities for our caravan. The van is insured through the Caravan Club but I am away from home so cannot read the content of the policy. We have been offered a place to park the van in a farmer's yard. This part of the farm is unmanned, the gate to the yard is...

Jockey Wheels towing with them removed?

As some of you will know I recently spent about seven weeks touring Scotland and the Lakes. When we were staying at Dunning we watched an outfit arrive on site (as you do) and were surprised to see them take the the jockey wheel assembly out of the boot (before unhitching) and fit it to the A...
