A question for Paul Jones, what is the black cover that you mention to prevent damage to the wheel? as my wheel lock has caused quite a lot of damage to my alloy wheel
As I said feel free to join in, this subject comes up periodically on Trucknet and I will always defend our hobby but there are a hard core of drivers with extreme views that will not listen to reason.

You will find that at this time of year with all the cold damp air, the wood will have absorbed moisture causing it to expand.
Once you get some heat in the van it will will dry out the wood and shrink back to normal

I have got the Mondeo TDCI 130 and could sing its praises all day, pulls like a train, etc,but as Roger says it's down to the individual.

Hi Kev, I'd have phoned the customer as soon as I reached the width restriction sign but as they say hindsight is a wonderful thing. Nice bit of reversing though
Thanks for that Brian, could you tell me how you uploaded it to the forum, I used to use Steve's photo tool but for obvious reasons it doesn't work anymore
If you look closely at the other photo's you can see water pooling on the seals between the window and the frames
I thought this might make interesting reading for those of you who have taken the wrong turn down a narrow lane with the van
