    Dogs on holiday

Dear Tanya We have stayed at Guines for the past 3 years and have used the following vet in Calais. As far as I am aware, she is the nearest to Guines, located west of Calais and very easy to find and you can park outside. We have always booked but we have been there when others have come on...

Motor Mover for Twin Axle Elddis Crusader Storm

I too have a Crusader Storm and have a Powrtouch All Wheel drive.Works a treat. However, you will lose the spare wheel carrier although this can be replaced with an Alko carrier with a kit supplied by Powrtouch. Personally I decided to simply carry the spare in the van whilst towing.

    caravan Show on telly today

In a word Yes, although the only vehicle that would tow it, a vintage lorry, because of its weight, actually broke down! This series had been shown on another channel last year.

    Mobile Homes Insurance Service

Whilst I am sorry to here of your problem, as an insurnce broker, I always insist that my clients read all the conditions of the policy, or,as you put it, the small print. If they are not happy then they have the right to cancel the insurance within 14 days. Incidentally, I do not know of the...

Two Mills adults only site North Walsham Norfolk

Spent 2 weeks on this site in August. There are 3 levels and we were on the bottom level fairly close to the reception. Easy access to the site. We had a fully serviced pitch so did not have to use the facilities, apart from the laundry room. At present there is only 1 toilet/shower block for...

    swiss road tax

I went to Switzerland last year. You do have to have a vignette for both the car and the caravan to drive on any motorway. I entered via Geneva and there was an official checking each vehicle. You can pay at a booth but it is not very practical with a caravan. Purchased mine from Swiss Travel...

    Ramoska cooker

My sister in law has been using a standard size one for over a year,on a regular basis, as they have been using seasonal sites for most of this time as my brother has retired. She raves about it. Having said that, they have a German van without an oven.We met up with them and she cooked a very...

    Overnight near tunnel

Black Horse is considerably nearer than the Bearsted site. I have used Black Horse for the past 3 years. Last year, coming from the M20, there is now a by-pass for Hawkinge. On reaching the 1st roundabout, on the A20, you take the first exit Spitfire Way and this meets up with the A260 close to...

    Wi Fi for laptop

We were recently on a site in Switzerland that had WiFi. I have a Belkin Wireless G+ Notebook card that slots into the CardBus slot on side of laptop. Worked a treat. Easy to install via CD

    Channel tunnel

On the outward journey you merely check in on the machine. Your booking will confirm a dog is included and you receive a notice to hang on your rear view mirror. On the return you follow the signs to the dog check in. It is on the right as you approach the terminal. Plenty of parking. Go into...
