    We are thinking of a trip to Lake garda at easter. The site we are looking at is Bella Italia. Has anyone any experience of either the site or more importantly the weather in April? Also can anyone suggest the best route to travel? thanks in advance.

    Woodland Waters Ancaster

    Hi there, have just come back from Woodland Waters , stayed there for 5 nights at new year and attended their new year event. Was excellent !     How far to travel in a day?

    if we are booking in advance we rarely go over 400 miles in a day. Whn we go out of season, we dont book in advance and have travelled well over 500 miles in a day. based on your journey, i would give 2 stopovers personally. Have fun!!!!

    Thefts at Clumber park

    Hi Al, long time no speak!!!! hope the family are OK. on your point, we have been to Clumber a few times recently with no issues however on check in last time we were told to remove valuables such as Tom tom from the car!!!! think the idea regarding security is a good one that would work...

    young caravanners

    i am 32 and my wife is 29. we have 2 small kiddies and a dog. we go away with 3 other families all our own age. we have done 5 trips this year and have 7 more booked already including France and Spain. We love it.

    Peak District

    The Carsington cycle trail is extremelly hilly in places. not for the faint hearted!!!! great fun though. we use the lickpenny site near Matlock, its wonderful.

    the best times are having a few drinks with friends while the kids are happy and playing in the park and on bikes. Bliss........

    where are you off to this summer?

    we are heading to Loire Valley on 25th May (Chateau Grenouilliere) and then Cambrils Park in Spain for just under 3 weeks in August..... plus lots of weekends as and when we can roll on summer....................
