Were of to France with the caravan for the first time, we were wondering if anybody could tell us what the best route would be, we get over to calais at 08.30 in the morning so we have all day, would it be a good idea to avoid the Motorways? what are the B roads like? Thanks Chris..

we are going to France for the first time too, we were recomended from a freind to join the caravan club before booking anything so we did, we got lots of great help and most importantly great discounts Especially for ferry crossings we are all booked up now thanks to the caravan club.

were of to France with the caravan for the first time end of July, the ferry crossing is 6.30 in the morning, we are traveling down to dover day before and need to find a camp-site near the port.
