    Mirrors for DS4

Thanks guys for your advice. I have bought a set of Aero 4 mirrors and tried fitting them. They seem to do what I want. One of the sets of mirrors I already had was the Milenco Falcon with the same mirror head but rubber straps and was the type I had to use cable ties and bungy straps to hold in...

    Mirrors for DS4

Thank you otherclive, I have looked at these as a result of your lead and all the reviews/ videos of them. I think you are right and have purchased a pair from Amazon. I've seen them on other cars but the recomendations seem to suggest they are (expensive) but the best to try. :)

    Car tax issue

I am sure that if stopped by the police and they check their records, the car will show up as taxed. Maybe I should wait until 1st June and then tax the car. It is the second car and not the towing vehicle. The Police will only check the DVLA database so beware

    Transferring data?

Why not install the free Libre Office on the computer you want to use. It's very much like the old office in layout but very much more capable and will handle many different formats of documents allowing you to save them in any format even PDF!

    Police to access driver's licence

Yes it has changed - all driver licence details can be confirmed at roadside. DQ1 is probably obsolete I would think

    Flooding

Quote -Had a bad time yesterday with various roads flooded and returning from an appointment. Luckily we were in the Jeep and I knew the back roads. What amazed me is that people with large 4x4s were worried about entering water that was obviously less than 18" deep. We were using B roads...

Duck Duck was a real no as it didn't return the data I wanted from searches and actuallyy blocked some sites I wanted to view (like my bank) Firefox I have ramped up most of its security settings and has caused me some...

    Need new tyres

Hi Roger - must say in the last 15+ years I've been doing this I have never had an issue with faulty tyres although I have had faulty tyres on two brand new cars! (one Michelin and the other Continental)

    Need new tyres

If you look at Camskill you will get any tyres you want, then find a local fitter that will put them on for cash, most do. Try...
