    Consumer Unit Location

Hi, Just wondering where the consumer unit on a caravan is usually located. The unit on my Abi Monza 1991 was located on the floor at the front of the van under the bed and I'm not to keen on this location so was thinking about moving this up in the top of a cupboard. There is also a outside...

    Led Rear Lights

Hi, I need to replace the rear lights on my 1991 caravan as they are not working correctly. The current lights have Stop, Tail and Indicator with a separate fog lamp, I want to change them to Led but most of the lights I find have reversing lights included, the question is if I fit these...

    Fridge's

I found the wiring diagram for my fridge, it shows a 12v feed and a separate 240v then the gas line. I'm going to check the 12v feed today to see if all is well.

    caravan Re-wire & Consumer Units

Thanks for your help I'm going to treat the caravan re-wire like if it was a house. I'm aware of what I can and cannot do in the eyes of the law so was going to run the cable in and only connect to the lights and sockets. Once this has been completed I was going to either get this inspected...

    caravan Re-wire & Consumer Units

Hi All, You may or may not be aware that my recent caravan purchase has some dodgy electrics (see the adventure temporary stalled post in welcome) So the decision has been made to re-wire the caravan, now talking the the electrical engineer at work they have advised the following: Tri-rated...

    The adventure temporary stalled

It looks like the bulbs have blown so I ordered some today, I had a look on the caravan council website and found a local caravan engineer who i will get in contact with once the electrics have been looked at. This website look like a very useful place to get information thanks for the heads up.

    The adventure temporary stalled

I have had a look at the floor from underneath and all is well as far as I can see, I think the movement is mainly down to my portly size. I am planning on installing a couple of cross members underneath I think it would only need 3 over a 1 meter period and that should do the trick. I had a...
