    Camping Europa St Jorioz

Hi We stayed at the site next to where you are going and we drove through Annecy with our 4x4 towing a twin axle 'van and had no problem, and it was busy. There is a steep hill you need to climb so just keep as much distance infront as you can before you pull off - avoiding as many hill starts...

    Camping Europa St Jorioz

Hi Yes we went to Annecy 3 years ago to the site next door to where you are going. We did go through Annecy and it is fine, we were in a 4x4 towing a twin axle 'van and had no problem. There is a steep hill going in but give yourself plenty of room to the car in front so to avoid to many...

    Quest Blenhiem Awning Annexe

Hi Everyone We have just purchased a new Quest blenhiem awning and the only annexe available does not have an internal zipped doorway so is open to the rest of the awning. The better half wants to take our old annexe and sew in a zip to math the new awning so we can use that. The question is...

We're off Christmas Eve for 5 nights with two other 'vanners to a site just outside Scarborough. All in our awning for Christmas dinner (it's the biggest) and a couple of heaters to keep us warm. Boxing day on the beach with the dogs to run off the day's before excess!! Hope the roads up...

    Pressure washer

Thank you all for your comments and advice - though sometimes contradictory. I think I will air on the side of caution and stick with my bucket and sponge and Muck Off which I've always used. Just thought the pressure washer would save me some time.

Hi All Well we are off to Yorkshire on Christmas Eve for 5 nights in the caravan with 2 sets of friends in theirs. First time winter caravanning and really looking forward to it. I've bought an insulated jacket for the water barrell, checked all the pipes are ok and think we are set. The...

    Fridge running on gas

Thanks all for the advice. It was very windy so guess it just blew out the flame. Where do I get these winter covers you are mentioning from?

    Fridge running on gas

Sorry, yes should've mentioned that first. Thetford 107 litre, not sure on model number but it has a small electronic display showing the fuel type in use and a bar chart for the coolness. Hope this helps

    Fridge running on gas

Hi Just returned from a 4 night non hook up stay so had to use the fridge on the gas supply but during the night it kept failing, but would re ignite simple by switching it off and then back on again. During the day it seemd to run fine. The caravan is a Swift Charisma 620 and I'm running on...
