    Battery box cover

Camel, great news when something eventually works out. Strangely, I've been having the same trouble opening my wife's purse when it comes to any form of caravan maintenance.

    Help a beginner!

Hi, I don't want to go to far off piste in response to your question, but perhaps you may consider the awning route, if your prepared to take it up, this'll allow you to have a much smaller van etc etc. Just utilize an awning to the max and many of your issues will simply evaporate. B)

    Its a Rip-Off

I fancied one of those windy out awnings for some time. Thought I'd have a poke about in the storage yard coz I spied another chap whom has his bolted on the side of his Swift Elegance 645. Looks sweet! Phoned up the Fiamma stockist and had a good old conflab, only to be told that these things...

    LED lighting confusion

Thumbing through my Swift caravan manual, the rear section talks about the units external lighting clusters. Seems all 'Road Lights' are sealed LED's and they are none user serviceable. No replacement bulbs can be utilized, etc etc... I suppose that other new caravans brands are the same...

    Talking Horse

Me and Mrs were out in Yorkshire, having a nice walk in the rain. Mrs overheard these two dogs chatting about the poor quality of their biscuits. I heard one of two horses, whom were over looking the scene, say - "You two have it easy, you should try standing out here in the rain all...

    I'm on the level

Has anyone noticed just how far out of level some of these so called, 'Super Pitches' are? How can these be described as Super? You know, for £37 I do expect someone to have gotten his rake out and leveled the thing somewhat. No....it's like camping with Sir Edmund Hillary!! Is it worth a...

Had a nuclear day out today.

We are looking forward to our stay in Keswick in early June this year. In particular we are looking forward to soaking up all the rays which the region is famous for. Historically wise, I was particularly interested in the region, its farming heritage and the other thing.......the goings-on of...
