    Trev. I've just finished getting my van 'sorted' for the winter and i've always used a thick black plastic sheet to cover the vents over the winter stuck down with medium tack waterproof tape. It works. It keeps out the cold air, thus preventing the fluid from freezing and also stops any dust...

    Hi all. Can anyone out there give me some advice on how to re tension the blinds on my 2005 caravan.Do they need to be taken off completely, do they need to be in the open or closed position etc.? Your advice would be very welcome. :-)

    It's also not a good idea to camp overnight in an "Aire de repose" if it can be avoided. I've heard too many stories of campers units being broken into etc while asleep.Best to find a suitable site.

    Thinking of going to France in 2009. Calais down to Macon using the motorways. I seem to remember reading it somewhere that travelling on Tuesdays or Thursdays the toll for a caravan is free. I can't remember the exact details though. Can anyone out there help? Thanks
