Hello again Just thought I would give an update ! I have used turpentines and then warm soapy water just to remove any smell and it has cleaned up a treat, All good thanks for advise

The flap on the outside of our caravan where water pump connection fits has snapped off. We have a Whale type system, however when I have looked to buy a replacement it gives two options Microswitch or pressurised. How do I know which one to use? I own a 2008 Ace Firestar if that helps...

I brought from B&Q some carpet tape to hold down a runner in our caravan. The rug still rucked up so I thought it would be easy enough to remove the tape! How wrong I was!!! It took me at least 2 hrs to peel the tape off the carpet and now its left a sticky residue which has now become dirty...

Hi all, we have a 2007 van and the window by the cooker hob doesnt stay open, it appears that the black knob has stopped tightening on the arm. Can anybody suggest what can be done? Many thanks Kay

Problem solved! Sent tv back and got new one (different make) and it works! no fannying around with ariel, perfect pic. So thank you for all your suggestions and comments. Kay

Hi Colin Can I use a digibox with a freeview tv? wouldnt it effect the TV?

hi Dustydog (good name by the way). We dont need to use a scart lead as we just plug tv into mains and the outside areial cable. Our TV does have facility for HDML lead connection but what would I connect it to?

Yes we have a directional aerial and we tried it in every direction/position :o(
