I have bought three new caravans over the years, two British and one continental none of which came with balanced wheels. I've often thought it strange that if balancing wheels was so important why don't manufacurers balance wheels on new caravans.

Make sure that the damper on the hitch is not compressed. After you have stopped with the caravan attached apply the caravan brake and move the car forward slightly. I have found I needed to do this as any compression in the hitch damper will result in difficulties in releasing the hitch and...
