Yes I have a motor mover and yes I’ve turned it on and I get a lump sound when I engage the red handle thingy. Thanks guys. Another question answered. I love this forum

On my Ace Award Brightstar caravan, inside the battery and mains hook up compartment I also have a red place turn handle. My caravan manual is a generic one and does not show this particular model. I do have abphotograph, but I’m not sure how to upload it to this post. Regards Robbie

its a porch awning, and does not feel very heavy at all. ill just have to persuade my wife to leave e kitchen sink at home :)

Thank you for you help and advice. I don’t aim to drive fast or do any real hill climbing. I’m not sure if the weight quoted includes the driver, I will need to check. I think I need to make sure that I load it right and take it nice and easy.

Hi. So I think I have worked it out. The kerb weight of my vehicle is 1585kg (this is the same as the unladen weight. Not sure if there is a connection between the two) and the MTPLM of my caravan is 1384kg. According to the figures you quoted I should not be towing more than 1347 kg. I assume...

Should I ask about nose weights, just in case some one feels like a debate :)
