There is one in cornwall that is great, but I think it will take you more than 3.5 hours to drive to. Worth the drive though, near Mevagissey its called Pentewen Sands!!!

    Tips for Selling my Caravan

Thanks everyone for your tips, thanks Mike, awaiting your answer. It will be a very sad day when I sell it, but I am looking forward to one last holiday in it this summer. Things change and I have to move on.

    Tips for Selling my Caravan

I am very sad to say I have to sell my caravan as my circumstances have drastically changed and I can no longer keep it. Has anyone any tips for selling, like whether I should sell it privately or to a dealer or on the internet, how I can find out how much it is worth, and if I do sell to...

    loch ness caravan park

This site is absolutely amazing, the views are breath taking and the welcome and the site are top. Make sure you get a pitch right on the bank, I did not find the bar a problem at all, not far to walk back after a meal and a drink. I do however agree the midges were a nightmare. But in the...

    A Bit of Advice

In my opinion this is a forum where where people discuss issues to do with caravans. It is not a chat room which is what has been going on here. Chat rooms attract trolls and such like. I am a member of lots of chat rooms and there you constantly banter with others and to be honest expect to...

    Television in caravans

I gather that this topic comes from the fact that I asked a question about digiboxes in caravans. Well I do take my TV and DVD player on holiday. I do not feel the need to explain myself and what I do in the privacy of my own caravan on my holiday is up to me, as long as I don't disturb...

Digibox or Freeview for my caravan

In Asda at the moment they are selling a freeview box (or is it digi, have Sky so not sure) very cheap. I am tempted to buy one and use it in my caravan. Can I do this, will it work?

    which awning

I found Barrons very polite but unable to supply me with an awning within time (I gave them lots of warning) and they were also unable to work out the length of my caravan. I had to do my own investigations in the end, which proved easy as all I did was to ring up Burstner, why they could not...

    We Did It!!!

Sorry, I think it was the way I worded it. I did'nt put the poles up first, but the instructions said to lay them on the ground roughly where they should be, then thread the canvas through. Then its easier to assemble the poles in the correct places.

    Two Chimneys in Kent

Two Chimneys is great, my caravan is there! Nice pool, club house and shop, toilets clean. Lots of pitches available, and area very nice. If you do stay there, don't let the kids play on the barrier, I might get a little bit cross with them. Not saying you have kids, but if anyone reading...

    We Did It!!!

Brian, that can only happen in my dreams. My experience was more like.... take it out of the boxes, assemble poles, and I dont mean erect the poles, I mean actually put them together. Then erect the dam thing, both work in silence as tired and stressed, then stop have a lolly and a drink from...
