    Cash Passport.....

I have one from Sainsburys that is a Travelex one. I didn't pay for ATM withdrawals last year, but have not checked this years terms and conditions. The only bad thing is they don't work on the French Autoroute or any other unattended machine as they are not Chip & Pin. All the retail outlets...

    Filling our Gaslow cylinder

Try www.autogasshop.co.uk, they sell a European reference Book. I have never had any trouble finding a station, as you tour around you will just come across them. Do not forget you need different adaptors for France, Spain, Switzerland etc!! UK ones DO NOT fit!!! Good Touring.

Wiring 12n and 12s caravan cables into single 13 pin euro plug

To make life easier, and the connector more waterproof, I used this connector http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/13-Pin-Conversion-Plug-Caravans-2-Cables-/160715698382?pt=UK_Trailers_Transporters_Parts&hash=item256b66f0ce which is really easy to fit, and comes with wiring details. My caravans grey cable...

Sky box and satellite dish set up!!

As stated above, are you using the system set up page to align disk. This page is available, regardless of dish position. I presume the sky box you are using is servicable? Unless you have got sky at home, try substituting your box for a friends known servicable box. My used sky box and 60cm...

    Motobility Scheme

You get the lower rate paid to you and the higher rate paid to motability. If there is anything at all wrong with the car it goes back to the dealer, all covered by manufacturers warranty. As the car comes to you with vehicle excise license, insurance, servicing etc all paid for, I think it is a...

    cause of squeaky hitch

Came back earlier this year from approx 2500 mile trip around europe with multiple stops. The "noise" started on hitching up in Calais for trip home. Even though I clean ball and pads every time I hitch up, I still got the noise. We stopped when we came off Eurotunnel and cleaned again, but to...

    Amiens

Thanks very much for the info, have sent off for the Tourist Office brochures. As you say, I was told it was a bit industrial by several people. The Amiens town website lists lots of attractions, quite a few indoors, which is good, as it is almost certain to rain as we are going Whitsun Week!!

    Amiens

Any suggestions for things to do in area? Going for Bank Holiday week, cheaper with camping cheques and cheap eurotunnel booking, than a site in the West Country, which was full,as appear to be most CC & C&CC sites. Hopefully the weather will be nice for once on a B/H!!!

Stroud Hill Park, St Ives, Cambridgeshire

Forget the restaurant, very expensive, use Mad Cat Pub in Pidley, less than half the price and better food. No connection, just live locally and use it.
