I have a Dorema awning that I had off ebay. The awning is perfect but it came with plastic pegs, all brandnew. I am not sure plastic will stand up to the job on some of the hard standing sites. Does anyone have any idea what pegs I should replace them with that will last.

Is it not possible to hook it up to your running car for a while when the battery gets low?? I know its not the most enviromently friendly way of charging a caravan battery but it must do the job.
