Ooops, I should have added my inlet connection does not have one of those filter cartridges that my 1997 Lunar had.

Hoping some one can tell me how easy it is to fit new retaining clips on my pump inlet. I am a little cautious in case by pulling the old ones out I have no retaining clips at all...
