Calling it a day on Caravaning

I too have given up caravanning in the UK this year. Nothing to do with costs. Nothing to do with van quality ( my last four have all been German). But all to do with the behaviour of fellow caravanners on site. For the past 2 years I have used adult only sites, but this year on a "no one...

    Keeping Battery charged during storage.

Peter, I can't remember the make now, and I only got back from France today, so I can't look. I bought it off the internet and it came from somewhere in Hertfordshire. Try a Google.

    Keeping Battery charged during storage.

I just use a 10 watt solar panel stuck on the roof of the caravan that I store in France and this is great for the job as it can be connected directly to the battery without having to use a controller. If you do this, mount the panel with a slope, as rainwater will tend to wash any dirt off.

    Winterhoff WS3000 with Pinball Wizard??

If I remember correctly from when I had one of these on a Shogun some years ago, the pin was free to rotate which would render the stabiliser function of the hitch useless. Check whether current versions of this now have the pin fixed.
