I have read recently about somebody having an insurance claim turned down because he had winter wheels fitted so was unable to fit his wheel clamp , does anyone now how we stand on this , I would be very interested as I fit them every year to allow me to store my wheels away from the weather. Hi before fitting your cover I use 2 layers of garden fleece , can be obtained from any garden centre to cover the windows , the fleece is so soft and thin that you can fix it by opening the windows , wife inside the van to close them while you hold the fleece in place, having 2 layers allows it...

Hi Tim if you don't mind taking the strip out you can put it in the washing machine, they clean up a treat , I have just done mine because they went all sticky , My strips are plastic but look like rubber. Ron.J

I have noticed that some site owners don't like you to fit wheelclamps and hitchlocks incase there is a fire and need to move vans to safety , but how do we stand with the insurance companys if your van is stolen ,, What do you do?? R J
