TV Reception at Park Coppice CC Site

Von Ryan, thanks for the info - just what I was after. Can you tell me where on site you were? I know they name the sections of the site after the lakes in the area and if you got a signal I want to know exactly where from! :) Was your dish tripod, jockey wheel, or roof mounted - and what size...

    troutbeck head cc site

We styaed at Troutbeck Head in July, and as the other posts say it is an excellent site. Location is key, if you like walking, cycling, outdoor pursuits then it's a great site. Howver if you are after the tourist hotspots of Ambleside, Windermere etc, it's a long drive! The actually area...

another bad experience of caravan club I am afraid

I'm a CC member, and do fully understand the ORIGINAL viewpoint stated, and agree with him. Why can't people realise that you have paid for a 'pitch' and that pitch is your own bit of personal space for the duration of your holiday? The CC deliberately space pitches so that members are not...

I agree with Alan, Trewethett Farm is a Caravan Club site and is excellent. Excellent views, but can get a bit windy!!!

    New towcar

Considering the overwhelming number of posts on this site relating to the Mondeo, have you considered that as a option?

    Which wheelclamp

Try an SAS Supaclamp Gold. It fits really quickly on my 175 x 14" alloys, and it's Gold Security Approved.

    Godrevy Park CC Site (Cornwall)

Stopped at Godrevy Park last year, and was really pleased with it. Wardens nice and friendly, and the site is well sheltered from the sea breeze. I agree with teh comment hat it is a bit of a trek to the beach, a private road is available to walk down from the site, but you have to cross the...

    vectra or mondeo

I have owned both, and have found the Mondeo to be the far superior car for driver comfort and handling. The Ford dealers are also far better in my opinion than the Vauxhall dealers.

what to tow a hymer with??

Practical Caravan had a Hymer on long term test not so long ago. They towed it with a Sorento I think, and a Volvo XC70. Possibly other cars too, but can't remeber. Take a flick through some recent past editions of PC!
