    Fridge from car supply

Error 10, I thing is no volts. Or in your case perhaps not enough. Try reving the engine up, with the van connected, and wait a couple of minutes and see if the error 10 disappears.

    Calling Caravan Club Members...

I think, and those are the words, " I think" that the CC rule of 21 days applies, irrespective of who actually ocupies the van.

    How long without hook up?

Generators are a pain for other people. However there are circumstances when necessary. In our case, I need a couple of hours a day to keep my wife's medical equipment working. On CL's I will find a fence post / tree / anything big to chain the genny to, as far away from other people as I can...

    mobile phone tracking for caravan

I did such a thing. You would have to leave the charger unit plugged into the mains. Ok if you are at home, but know good at storage. Also unless you use the phone occasionally it will be disconnected from the system. Also Also the tracking website sends a text every so often to ask the phone if...

Fit to Tow DVD, your views on it

Personally I don't see what you are all moaning about. I thought that the DVD made an excellent coaster. But then you can't please everybody I suppose. :)

    swift warranties

The 2006 Swift had a 3 yr Guarantee when the brochures came out, but they switched to a 6 yr at that time. I got my 2006 Swift 645LUX in mid February 2006 and Swift sent me paperwork confirming the changeover. Regards SuperMike

    Generators

John L is spot on. Our daughter needed her nebuliser for about 20mins three times a day to help her take the drugs. This was achieved by a crorrect sized inverter plugged into the car and used with the car engine running. On tick over most cars are not as noisy as generators. You also save the...

Bulb kit for clear style light clusters

How about taking one of each bulb to Halfords, seeing if you can match them up, and then putting the spares in a small plastic container wrapped in tissue.

The historiesis (bet thats spelt wrong)of a thermistor is terrible, so by...

So away over Easter in our super duper new Swift 645 we suffer a problem. Very frosty outside and a little chilly inside. Yes the age old problem of the heater cutting out after a while and taking an age to come back on again. Picture this. Swift with all their years of making caravans have...
