Well that's a very comprehensive reply Woodentop and I've copied and pasted to my brother. Thank you, very helpful!

    New for Old. Digital Aerial.

Thank you for you're kindly reply. Unfortunately the caravan, and my brother, is 120 miles away. I;m sorry if I was a bit short replying, I was under the initial impression that swapping over was pretty easy, just wanted either yes it is or no, it isn't straight forward. I'll pass on what I've...

Thank you for understanding the post Buckman. Everyone in other groups were asking why and indicating that change wasn't needed.

    New for Old. Digital Aerial.

Hi Prof! The caravan is a '96 Bailey Ranger. The old round dish with the Titty on top, ok, it may be faulty, or just old. Reception has never been brilliant my brother says but he feels it needs replacing. I know my Directional Aerial allows me to point towards the best nearest mast. I'm pretty...

    How can I check?

Cheers for that Prof' Really don't know where to go with this now? Best advice so far is to buy a 110 or possibly a 115 amp battery? As you said, the 100 amp should be up to the job but may be it's the motors after all? Powrtouch point towards the battery. The 60w panel has a power controller...

    How can I check?

Turns out the 100 amp battery is 100%. Been on EHU this last week and mover worked well. Just a .35v drop measured by multimeter after the uphill onto the drive. This was from 13.35v beforehand. Is it possible to buy the added 20 or so amps in order to boost the original battery? Wired in...

    Truma ultraflow filter

Only problem we've had with the Ultraflow is splits in the plastic barrel in which the pistol is inserted. One new one last June and now again that we are waiting for a replacement under warranty. Always lube the pistol, can't understand why this happens? I take meds too, morning and evenings...

    How can I check?

Whilst on a 60w solar panel connected, and it's putting out !6v, how long should it take to charge a battery back up to 13.5v? This is from an off-grid 12.5v showing? I am desperately trying to find out after 4/5 days off-grid why my mover cuts out if even slightly put under load. Handset is...

    Water Pressure Switch

I had the same problem earlier in the week, carried out a search on here and just didn't find this post? Anyway, I too find going on grid to off grid, after 2 or 3 days even using the solar panel, I have to tweak the pressure switch? Can someone say in which direction should it be turned when...

    Pressure switch.

Thank you. Thought it was just our van. Running a 60w solar panel on the roof but it struggles to keep above 12v at times but over 16v was measured coming from the panel earlier today.

    Pressure switch.

When caravaning off grid, should it be necessary to adjust the pressure switch if the battery voltage drops?
