Skoda Kodiaq 2.0 tsi dsg petrol 180ps

I approached Skoda to find a 2.0 petrol Kodiaq to drive located within a 60 miles and they couldn't find one. And I'm not far from their base in Milton Keynes...... I also asked if they had one in their press fleet to which they said they're not sure what I meant by press fleet. Doesn't seem...

    Powrtouch mover fault

Thanks for the replies. Long time since I posted hence doing so in the wrong area.... The Mover is 7 years old, and the toggle switch is a 'return to centre' type.

    Powrtouch mover fault

After positioning the van with the mover, the rollers wouldn't retract off the tyres electrically (have wound them off the tyre for now). The battery was low (11.5V) and charging didn't help so it's been replaced with a new one. This has not overcome the problem. Powrtouch helped on the phone...

    Had the seat/bed cushions replaced?

Our van is a 2008 model, bought new, a mainstream brand, with a 'make-up' bed layout, used about 4 weeks per year. We are sure the cushions are gradually collapsing and less comfortable to sleep on. Is this to be expected? The covers though are wearing well. Are replacement foams as good as or...

    Advice on bailey problem

I have had 2 new Bailey vans spread over 8 years. The first developed a discoloured patch after about 15 months on one side, and was acknowledged as repaired on the production line before delivery. Eventually it went back to Bailey for a new side. It was late coming back, in a very poor state...

    Senator Series 6 radio/dvd player

Our Senator 6 DVD is also not overused, but now freezes after about an hour's play. Is this fixable, or it time for replacement?

    Senator Series 6 radio/dvd player

Our Series 6 Senator DVD player is also not overused but has just started freezing after about 1 hours playing time, and then to get the controls back you have to turn it off. Is this fixable, or now due for replacement?

    Paintwork crazing on new caravan

Have a patch of paintwork that has started to craze on pne side of the van, in one area only. Only just become noticeable. Van is just over a year old. Looks possibly like a repair job ageing differently, but the van was bought new and has had no repairs. Anyone else had similar? How did you set...

    fading front windows

Acrylic is very colourfast and changes in service are unlikely. However, some tinted acrylic can look quite similar, but may originate as a brown tint or a smoke/grey tint for example. In some lights it will become more obvious. Could a window have been replaced at some point?

    saving diesel

Understand the interest, but the chemistry... - sounds like trying to ride an Exocet bare-back?

HYUNDAI SANTA FE 5000 MILES CAMBELT SNAPPED

Got a Hyundai-fitted tow bar on our SF. Indicator repeater is very loud, deafens the dog in the back, good job there's the rear air conditioning for him as a trade-off or he'd say he wasn't going (dog gets the VIP treatment in our house). Have put some insulation around the bleeper itself but...

SERIOUS - HEALTH WARNING for current PC issue

Got the mag in the post today. Inside is a green pouch. If you have any form of neck/back problem THROW IT STRAIGHT IN THE BIN - WITHOUT OPENING IT. My wife, who has a serious neck problem, didn't, because there is no warning as to what may happen. As you remove the contents, a wire rimmed disc...

    the great saga stitch up

09:57 PM Insurance companies are fair-weather friends. We had to fight (and won) a battle for 7 years over a non-fault injury car accident that permanently disabled my wife, horrible experience, no rules either, plenty of times we felt like giving up on what was a rightful fight because of all...
