Last week as I plugged a 12v pump into the fitted 12v socket I blew a fuse which i changed, all well whilst on site hooked up to mains. Now home the 12v system is completely dead apart for the items which are directly wired up to the battery, (mover and radio). No lights, pump, toilet flush etc.
Now - this is the confusing issue, all works perfectly when plugged into mains hook up on drive, once unhooked all fails again.
Is there a fuse which controls all the 12v system or have I missed something?
The caravan is an Avondale and all the electrics are located under the front seat, the battery was renewed during April and as far as I know the charger is working well.
We never use the caravan away from mains hookup but I want to start it before the caravan is used again.
