Clearly it hasn't seen a lot of service, but I guess that in Scotland nature washes the screen for you..
When I got it, was supposed to be compatible with suzuki vitara ,but it wasn't, was only a few quid from the bay of plenty, and I couldn't be bothered to send it back.

Lifting manhole covers - for telecom/cable ducting
Good try, but no. Although I’ve got self lifting covers on the house outlet. The top is screwed down using stainless screws. But the cover just pulled out. Must have been installed by someone who went on to build caravans. Note the little black Scotty dog identifies the type of crap outlet.🙈

What the designed role for this and what is it brilliant at?

It’s a belt tool for a Dyson vacuum cleaner and comes with a tensioning jig all used if clutches are changed. However we got rid of the Dyson and recently I found the belt/clutch tools. I retained the T shaped tool to help remove badly aged grouting from our rear patio. What a life saver, so much better than an old tent peg, or paving weed removal tool. The Dyson tool enables me to penetrate right underneath the uneven riven slabs and can be rotated 180 degrees etc. Combined with a cordless drill and No 5 masonry but it’s hard to believe what’s been removed. All I now need are 2 rain free overcast days below 20 deg C and the new grout will go in.

Never throw anything away 😂

I used to have something similar years ago when I went snorkeling for fish/crabs,,used it to pull the crabs out of crevices instead of my hand, it's possible a crab could arch up and trap your hand and so not having gills myself a tool similar to the one shown was used,,

To catch crayfish hiding in a crevice there was a quite a clever trick. If you pulled them, they anchored themselves using their claws. If you pushed them backwards they then did the opposite to stop you pushing them backwards. You then yanked them out. Never went crabbing as not much meat on them compare to a crayfish.
