Light bulb with the socket/eddison screw removed,then filled with an unknown liquid,,,Hutch tell me what it is and I'll confirm it😄
Despite it looking like a sample flask..... I think that it's a rudimentary barometer, the level of liquid changes according to the atmospheric pressure.
An old fashioned lantern where the liquid releases a gas at the top which gets lit. I say this only because it looks sooty at the narrow open end?

Ah you’ve been to the Queens Head bar in Zeedjik Amsterdam too.
It’s one of a range of tools made by Bayco to help remove various types of lamp bulbs from their fittings. This particular one helps remove a broken glass conventional bulb from the holder when as can happen the glass has broken.
