We had metal dust caps on our tow car. They used to refuse to budge, so yes I would buy one. However plastic dust caps are probably cheaper.

Metal dust caps on cars with valve-mounted TPMS sensors can get corroded in place because the two metals are different - it's electrolytic corrosion - got the T-shirt!
