12 volt socket

My T@B has a 12 volt outlet socket as well as the usual 230v socket. However, the a cigar lighter plug will not fit as the aperture of the socket is much smaller. Is this a a continental quirk and can anyone advise where I might get a suitable plug from?

These mini connectors are used on a number of German designed caravans, and they are an international standard plug - DIN ISO 4165

Electronics stores, like Farnell, Maplin, etc., stock different versions of these connectors - fused, un-fused, different cable entry, etc.

You can get a cigar plug that fits both your type and the car cigar socket

Motor World sell them

They have your smaller fitting with a sleeve over that is used for the cigar socket or left off for your type
