12 volt TV cable

Hi Everyone,

If I use my 12v telly on a non hook up site, I need a cable that is a "cigar lighter" plug one end, and a small 4 pin "din" type plug the other end. I've tried Maplin's etc but they don't do one. Any ideas?

you will have to make your own. Get a ciggie lighter extension from halfords and the 4 pin DIN from maplins.

Why do you need a 4 pin DIN ? Most telly have a 4.0mm standard female socket.

You can get the four pin adaptor here, but you really need to use a voltage stabilizer to safe guard the electronics in the TV from voltage spikes ......
