does anyone have any idea why when using my tv on the 12 volt socket it keeps flashing on and off, it isn,t the tv as it works fine in a friends caravan i also have had the circuit board in the zig changed for a new one as the 12 volt side failed however the tv is exactly the same any thoughts on this would be appreciated
 
Diane, perhaps the start up current is to much for the zig to handle so it shuts down, the tv switches off, the zig comes back on and the cycle is repeated.

You could run a seperate cable from the battery to a new socket ( or use the existing by removing and insulating the wires). Run the new cable with 2.5mm wires and put a 20A fuse in the +ve leg.
