I agree with Dusty and Colin. I regularly go over to the van when its in storage to get on with my various repairs, and mods. I have been surprised at the number of other owners whose response to such activities is 'I just take mine to the dealer..'
I'm one of those who kept old cars going with better bits from the scrappie, and I learned a lot doing so. Some of the work carried out by 'professionals' at the factory is appalling. Compared to modern cars, caravans are generally pretty easy to work on with a bit of research and help from people here. I enjoy it and the £ savings it brings.
