12v Accessory socket problem

Precisely what I have done, for the convenience of using a pump for inflating an airbed; connecting an electric coolbox; and anything else 12v in the awning (My battery box in on that side).

(Purists will now start debating the wisdom of a potential spark hazard near the battery)

I do though find a dustpan and brush perfectly satisfactory 😛

I decided that once I started adding additional sockets a small additional fuse box would be a good idea. You can buy various sizes on ebay - I opted for a 6 fuse version. The whole thing is fused with a 20 amp from the battery with appropriate fuses/wiring for the separate circuits. This arrangement allows additions to be isolated individually or all at once in the event of a fault, to help isolation of that fault.
