12V plug for those LCD TV's

It seems such a pain to have to up the power to 240V to have the TV adapter drop it down to 12V again?

Would you pay for a seperate DIN plug with some cable on it and add your own cigarette lighter end?

Asking as someone I know may be doing them but has no idea what to charge.

Do you mean a 4 pin Din one end and a two flat pins plug the other end to fit directly into the 12volt socket fitted in the caravan?

HI all,

My LCD tv is not a proper 12v model, it too has a 240v transformer and a small plug similar to a Nokia phone charger giving 12v, I bought the plug from Maplins for 52p and made up a lead, it has worked fine like this for 2 years now.
