Given the Maypole 13 pin plug (see photo) can be bought for £6.68 from euro car parts , I think unless you have a source of free o rings , just buy a plug and swap out the O ring! . I just measured the one on a stock Maypole plug. the ID was 35 mm and section 1.45mm the closest match I got in nitrile was from ploymax my preferred supplier of O rings ( also available from simply bearings)at 35mm ID and 1.5mm section. Polymax have a minimum order of £10 , simply bearings will sell you two for the princely sum of £8.24 inc VAT and delivery. If it was me I would just do without , IMO it's more important that the back of the plug is sealed( where the bared copper wires meet the connectors) , which the maypole has a proper sealing gland , unlike the Sargent types which don't and will slowly rot the wires if not sprayed annually with a water dispersant ( repaired so many of these)
