13 pin conversion - connection block required?

Hello all,
I'm going to be converting the wiring on our caravan from 2 x 7pin to 13 pin. I've read before about running the new cable into the caravan and then joining the 13 pin wires to the existing 2 x 7pin wires via a connection block inside the caravan. Does anybody know what Amp the connection blocks should be?
