13 PIN PLUG REPLACEMENT

Good Afternoon all,

I need to replace my caravan 13 pin plug, is there any that are better than others?

Obviously i will stay clear off cheap ebay ones from china.

Was doing a bit mantanance today and checked the plug,badly corroded and rusty 🙄

I think we have the German Jeagar plug fitted. Not sure on the spelling?

Can't find other than plastic at varying prices, how about this Maypole example from Screwfix?

The maypole one looks exactly like the one buckman suggested at half the price, rebranded or copy???

I fitted a Maypole one to a friends Caravan and the Socket to his car, worked fine for over 5years, going out maybe every month. No problems with the Coupling up.
Quality of the plastic on the Jaeger might be better though.

I think I've got a Jaeger plug fitted but don't know what makes them special

Just check our caravan also got a Jaeger plug fitted

They are made in Germany
Cannot go out of sink
Cost six times the Maypole etc
