13 pin to 7 pin convertor

HI All,

We use the wifes volvo to tow the caravan no issues at all 13 pin towbar connections so all good on the atc front etc 👍

I was wondering if there was an option for me to tow with my t5 camper and still get the atc to work using the vans 7 pin electrics or is it a case off total refit with a 13 pin westfalia harness?

7-pin (12N) electrics can't be adapted to run the ATC - either add the second 7-pin socket (12S) and use an adapter or rewire for a 13-pin socket.

As RogerL says better to add a 12s socket or convert to 13 pin socket as the 12n socket is for trailer lighting

Cheers guys, was just a thought, i just wasnt wanting to tow without atc as not covered with insurance if the worst happens lol.
