16amp or 10 amp EHU?

A number of people I spoke to in Cornwall over the last two weeks were suggesting the Caravan Club wee considering reducing their power outputs to 10 amps this year. I haven't read anything but wondered if there is any truth in this?
The CC Affiliated site we were on used 10amps. Even in the minus 10 degs the breakers t never tripped out although were careful to switch off the heater when using the micro wave.

i don't know the formal answer but the amperage is determined by the trip switches. To reduce to 10 amps all would have to be replaced. A massive cost but I have read that electric costs are often a large part of the site fee the club receives.

Eh? How much power does your microwave take?

Remember 10A is the continuous current rating - it will take more than that to make it trip. If your turn your heater down to the low setting - usually 500W or 1KW you should be able to run the microwave as well. No need to be uncomfortable!
