1940's caravan body

On page 49 of this months club mag there is a photo of a caravan with what looks like a one piece body shell similar to a modern Eriba shell, I wonder why that style of manufacture was not more popular in later years, I suppose because it did not leak, does anyone know the make of the caravan in the photo,
