1990 Lunar Micron Axle type

Hi,
I’m new to this.
I have a 1990 Lunar Micron that needs a new wheel hub. I have been trying to source a hub with some difficulty. I hoped that someone might help me with a little advice about orgs that have parts for old vans. I have the part number. Also, I understand it’s important for me to know the type of chassis. Does anyone know how I might figure that out. Any info or advice about this would be very grateful succeed. Thanks in advance.
 
For your information, caravan chassis are usually assembled from kits of parts and each part will have its own part number.

Unfortunately most of teh manufacturers are continental, and it can be difficult to for customers and sometimes dealers to obtain parts, but in essence once you have the part number or precise' description you will need to contact one of their dealers.

You could try finding a second hand one from a caravan breakers yard.
 
Beware. I needed a new hub while in France (very long story). The French repairer found a part number and ordered it. When it came to fit it, it was the right size but drilled and tapped for bigger bolts. The number he looked at was a casting number not a part number!

That's good to know - Ta! I have attached a pic of mine with the number on. Did you get yours sorted in the end?

I think that that is the casting number. But so long as you are aware that may be helpful.

Mine was a long sad story which ended up in having two major insurance repairs, probably costing more than £15000.

Sorted in the end with a new van, that was in 2015. Just amazing how poor the French were. Totally different back here when I got repaturated.
