1995 hymer water tap

hello I have a 1995 Hymer 564 and the sink tap stops the water but the pump can still be heard running until the tap is lifted up manually any advice would be welcome, Bri.
 
I'm not sure on this model how easy it is to examine the underside of the tap but I suspect that there may be a issue with the micro-switch on the underside of the tap.
 
Agree, probably a sticky microswitch. the tech help on this group is outstanding and unlike another place AKA the dark side there is little bitching........https://www.facebook.com/groups/classichymers/?fref=nf
 
thanks for your response folks prob hopefully sorted ( swift tap "scuse the pun"on the top did it, lot of ignorance and a little brute force, regards Bri.
