1997 ABI Sprinter

I feel that time has come to move up from a 1983 Monza to a new van, preferably with hot water.

I have come across a 1997 ABI Sprinter, CRIS checked, fully serviced with everything need to hitch up and go. The price is £3,499. Does this sound reasonable and has anyone had experience of an ABI Sprinter.

I tow with an Astra 1.6 CD and have a 85% of 980, apparently the ABI comes in at 900.

Any views gratefully received as it is only myself and a 12 year to sort this van out if anything goes wrong!

The sprinter is a basic model and will do you both very well,while the price is a fair one,models over about five years old are proned to leaks while others have floor delam problems,im not trying to put you off but 15 vans out of 45 at a dealer had water ingress in them that i looked at last weekend,and one dealer in norwich was selling one for

The caravan had sold by the time I got there but on investigating, found damp in one corner. It also is not much bigger inside than the Monza. So its back to the drawing board for the moment.
