2 day Outside Concert @ Wellington Country Park

Perfect weekend in the caravan with two days of outside concerts on the very same site, anyone else go, If not can highly recommend for next year.
 
Hi Paul and Ruth - we didn't go to Wellington but did go for the third year with caravan to Kingston Maurward near Dorchester - three nights of open air concerts and New Forest DA of Camping and Caravanning Club have temporary holiday site there during that time. Fantastic venue, great music and atmosphere!!!

Be interested to hear more on the festival you went to. We are looking at Dorset maybe for our main holiday so also any Caravan sites that you can recommend would be appreciated?

If you let us know what your preference is ie quiet, commercial, hook up or no hook up, facilities or not ...... we'd be more than happy to help you out. Some super places around here and we have both beautiful coastline and countryside.

um....that's not another Paul and Ruth is it? 🙂

We would like somewhere not too lively, but with plenty to do for the children, maybe inside swimming pool, something for them to do during the night and some light entertainment...prefer live bands to disco! Staying for 2 weeks during August next year. We did visit a small site for a weekend in a tent many years back but cannot remember what it was called (not suitable for our main holiday) but would go again for a weekend. All we can remember was that it was close to the tank museum, had a pub close to the entrance with a railway line (Which we remember well as we were in the pub when someone P1**ed decided to walk up the railway line)...think it may of been a CCC site but we are no longer members.
